La iniciativa, impulsada por la Direcci\u00f3n de Personas con Discapacidad, busca promover la inclusi\u00f3n de las personas con discapacidad en los espacios recreativos de San Juan.<\/p>\n<p>Paula Moreno, directora del organismo, explic\u00f3 que el proyecto surgi\u00f3 tras detectar la falta de opciones accesibles en estos balnearios. \u201cHasta el momento, los diques no ofrec\u00edan accesibilidad para que las personas con discapacidad motora pudieran ingresar al agua para disfrutar de esta actividad recreativa. Entonces nos propusimos revertir esta situaci\u00f3n para garantizarles este derecho\u201d, sostuvo.<\/p>\n<p>Las sillas anfibias fueron dise\u00f1adas y fabricadas por un emprendedor local. Est\u00e1n construidas con materiales livianos y resistentes al agua dulce, y cuentan con flotadores laterales y ruedas especiales para facilitar su uso en terrenos irregulares. Cada una soporta hasta 150 kilos y permite un traslado seguro dentro del agua.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto prev\u00e9 la entrega de seis sillas, distribuidas entre los tres diques mencionados. En una primera etapa, se asignar\u00e1n dos unidades al balneario de Punta Negra. \u201cSon las dos primeras sillas anfibias terminadas. Las cuatro restantes se ir\u00e1n entregando de manera gradual y a medida que est\u00e9n listas\u201d, detall\u00f3 Moreno.<\/p>\n<p>Esta iniciativa forma parte del programa \u00abVerano Inclusivo\u00bb, que busca garantizar el acceso equitativo a actividades recreativas en la provincia.
