Foto: Gentileza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>La estatua lleg\u00f3 al taller del Ferrourban\u00edstico, que pertenece a la Direcci\u00f3n de Infraestructura Cultural del Ministerio de Turismo, Cultura y Deporte, con un casi 70% de su estructura da\u00f1ada, afectada por el paso del tiempo, las inclemencias del clima y actos de vandalismo. Durante el proceso de restauraci\u00f3n se repararon da\u00f1os en partes clave de la escultura, como los brazos, la cabeza y el libro que el pr\u00f3cer sostiene entre sus manos.<\/p>\n<p>La restauraci\u00f3n incluy\u00f3 reparaciones estructurales, repintado con acr\u00edlicos y lacas especiales, y trabajos de protecci\u00f3n para evitar futuros da\u00f1os. Los da\u00f1os sufridos por la estatua fueron producto de la exposici\u00f3n al sol, las lluvias, la acci\u00f3n de la piedra y actos vand\u00e1licos.<\/p>\n<p><amp-img src=\"https:\/\/pxcdn.diariohuarpe.com\/huarpe\/022025\/1740400998280\/whatsapp-image-2025-02-24-at-09-26-52-jpeg..jpeg\" width=\"800\" height=\"488\" layout=\"responsive\" class=\"nowrapper\" alt=\"\"\/><span class=\"epigrafe_mustang\">El equipo de restauraci\u00f3n depende del Ministerio de Turismo, Cultura y Deporte. Foto: Gentileza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Uno de los aspectos m\u00e1s destacados de la intervenci\u00f3n fue la conservaci\u00f3n del trabajo original realizado por Juan Carlos Mart\u00ednez, quien fue el restaurador original de la obra creada por el artista Fernando Roberto Pugliese. En este sentido, se cubrieron los ojos de la estatua para preservar la pintura original.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, se realiz\u00f3 una r\u00e9plica exacta del libro que Sarmiento sostiene entre sus manos, resguard\u00e1ndose la pieza original, debido a su deterioro.
