El evento, denominado Creative Brain Week (CBW), se lleva a cabo este 21 y 22 de febrero, con el objetivo de abordar los complejos desaf\u00edos que afectan al cerebro y sus funciones, mediante conferencias y espect\u00e1culos art\u00edsticos. La provincia de San Juan fue elegida como la primera sede en Am\u00e9rica Latina de este prestigioso encuentro, que cuenta con el respaldo del Global Brain Health Institute, el Trinity College Dublin y Creative Aging International.<\/p>\n
La apertura se realiz\u00f3 este viernes en el Sal\u00f3n Emar Acosta de la Legislatura Provincial, mientras que las siguientes actividades tendr\u00e1n lugar en el Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes Franklin Rawson. Entre las personalidades destacadas que asistieron al evento estuvieron el vicegobernador de la provincia, Fabi\u00e1n Mart\u00edn; el embajador de Irlanda en Argentina, John Gerard McCoy; el vicepresidente de la C\u00e1mara de Diputados, Enzo Cornejo; el ministro de Salud, Am\u00edlcar Dobladez; la ministra de Gobierno, Laura Palma; intendentes y diputados de San Juan, entre otros.<\/p>\n
El ministro de Salud de la provincia, agradeci\u00f3 a la organizaci\u00f3n por elegir San Juan como sede de un evento de tanta relevancia para la salud mental. \u00abEste es un flagelo que afecta al mundo entero y nosotros no somos la excepci\u00f3n. Debemos trabajar todos juntos para unir esfuerzos y poder construir una sociedad m\u00e1s sana\u00bb, expres\u00f3 Dobladez.<\/p>\n
Por su parte, el embajador de Irlanda en Argentina, John Gerard McCoy, destac\u00f3 la importancia del evento para fortalecer los lazos entre ambos pa\u00edses. \u00abBuscamos acercar cada vez m\u00e1s los v\u00ednculos de San Juan con Irlanda, a pesar de la historia en com\u00fan que tenemos. M\u00e1s de 500 mil argentinos tienen ascendencia irlandesa, lo que refleja la cercan\u00eda entre nuestros pa\u00edses. Siempre estaremos agradecidos por las oportunidades que se les brind\u00f3 a los irlando-argentinos\u00bb, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n
El diplom\u00e1tico tambi\u00e9n resalt\u00f3 la comunicaci\u00f3n y aceptaci\u00f3n que ha encontrado en Argentina. \u00abHe visitado 12 provincias y dialogado con comunidades de irlando-argentinos en todo el pa\u00eds con muchos proyectos en el campo de la educaci\u00f3n, proyectos que miran al futuro y fortalecen nuestro v\u00ednculo\u00bb, concluy\u00f3.<\/p>\n
El vicegobernador, Fabi\u00e1n Mart\u00edn, subray\u00f3 la relevancia del encuentro, asegurando que la salud mental y el deterioro cognitivo son problem\u00e1ticas que afectan a toda la sociedad. \u00abDestaco la calidad de los expositores y disertantes que nos visitan. Desde su creaci\u00f3n en Irlanda en 2022, Creative Brain Week se ha consolidado como un evento \u00fanico. En 2024, comenzaron a organizarse ediciones sat\u00e9lites en distintas regiones del mundo, y San Juan fue elegida como la primera sede en Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n
El CBW en San Juan coincidi\u00f3 con el cierre del Proyecto PILOT: \u201cMaking a Way out of No Way\u201d, una iniciativa que demostr\u00f3 el impacto positivo del arte en la salud cerebral, la resiliencia y el bienestar social. Durante 24 meses, este proyecto benefici\u00f3 a comunidades marginadas de la provincia mediante 10 talleres, 20 sesiones de concientizaci\u00f3n y tres meses de clases semanales de guitarra en el Ex Camping FOECYT, Villa Chacabuco, Valle Grande y Barrio Los Pinos. Estas actividades integraron formaci\u00f3n musical, educaci\u00f3n prosocial y promoci\u00f3n de la salud cerebral, con el respaldo del Instituto Latinoamericano de Salud Cerebral (BrainLat) de la Universidad Adolfo Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez (Chile), el Ministerio de Salud de San Juan y el Instituto de Investigaciones en Psicolog\u00eda B\u00e1sica y Aplicada (IIPBA) de la Universidad.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
