Las fechas marcadas\u00a0para que los devotos peregrinen en tramos ser\u00e1n los d\u00edas 3, 4 y 5 de abril.<\/p>\n<p>Cada edici\u00f3n del evento cuenta con la participaci\u00f3n federal de devotos de todo el pa\u00eds y cuenta con el apoyo del Gobierno de San Juan a trav\u00e9s del Ministerio de Turismo, Cultura y Deporte. La edici\u00f3n pasada cont\u00f3 con alrededor de 5.000 jinetes de todo el pa\u00eds, 60 carruajes particulares y la participaci\u00f3n de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Carruajes Antiguos con el aporte de 25 carruajes m\u00e1s. Adem\u00e1s de la federaci\u00f3n sanjuanina, se espera la participaci\u00f3n de 70 fortines gauchos m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>La programaci\u00f3n del evento todav\u00eda no est\u00e1 anunciada, pero se espera que, al igual que a\u00f1os anteriores, cuente con artistas locales en el cierre de la Cabalgata en Vallecito, cuando los jinetes arriben al parador Difunta Correa. \u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"intertitulo\">Historia<\/h2>\n<p>La Cabalgata es una tradicional peregrinaci\u00f3n que se realiza a\u00f1o a a\u00f1o en honor a la figura de la Difunta Correa. Tradicionalmente, se realiza el \u00faltimo fin de semana de febrero,\u00a0coincidiendo con el aniversario de la muerte de la Difunta Correa, que se recuerda el 25 de febrero.\u00a0Miles de personas peregrinan a caballo hasta el Santuario, ubicado en Caucete.
